Nineteen of us went to El Salvador through St Mathews church in Wauwatosa.  I've never done an overseas group trip before.  While it was called a "mission" trip we did not go to El Salvador to either help or evangelize.  While a few of our group did fit locals with eyeglasses one morning, and a few other things, I can say I was completely useless.

We (or at least I) went to experience El Salvador - its history, current situation, and most importantly, its often amazing people.  And perhaps also gain something spiritually from said amazing people.

The pages in the list on the right are not in the sequence we visited the sites; I've ordered them more or less in the order the corresponding events occurred in the history of the nation.  I've omitted things that I felt did not fit the story.
